Description:

The Museum Data Assistant will assist in data collection with Earthwatch participants. This entails preparing, distributing, collecting, and computer management of surveys. In addition, the research assistant will collect and manage photos from Earthwatch participants. The research assistant will facilitate audio recordings of focus group interviews conducted with the participants and storage of the audio files. The student will work for approximately 10 hours a week (including transport time to and from the field site) for the 6 weeks that the program will run, in addition to the week prior to the program starting and the week following the commencement of the program (80 hours total).

Qualifications:

Proficiency in iPad programs for photos and audio recordings is necessary.
